Cybernetic Replacement

Cybernetic replacements are artificial limbs, organs, or other body parts that are implanted in a character's body to replace those that have been lost or damaged. A cybernetic replacement can be installed on a character with a successful Hard (kkk) Medicine check . It functions identically to the lost limb or organ that it replaces.

Flashlight

While modern flashlights are more powerful, use less energy, and are made from more advanced materials than older models, their basic function hasn't changed for centuries.

A flashlight provides light and removes j added to checks due to darkness. It can provide light out to medium range.

Hard Crate

Hard might be a bit of an understatement. These heavy-duty crates are made from a durable, thick, self healing polymer that can withstand a lot of punishment. They are often used to transport delicate or valuable items across the system. They can't be opened without the proper keys or a LOT of force. Like the kind of force that would attract a lot of attention or destroy whatever is inside.

Linkpad

The Linkpad is a versatile handheld device that can be used for communication, data storage, and hacking. It features a high-resolution display, a holographic projector, and a secure data link to other devices. The Linkpad can be used to access databases, send messages, and control other electronic devices.

Mag Boots

Mag Boots are a type of footwear that uses magnetic fields to adhere to metal surfaces. Mag Boots enable the user to 'walk' on metal surfaces, such as the hull of a spaceship, in zero gravity.

When in use remove the setback dice from any checks made to move in zero gravity. Removing or attaching Mag Boots requires one maneuver.

Medkit

A Medkit is a portable medical kit that contains a variety of medical supplies and equipment. It is used by med-techs and other medical professionals to treat injuries and illnesses.

An emergency medkit allows your character to heal wounds or Critical Injuries without penalty. If your character's Medicine check generates hhh or d, it means they have used up all of the kit's supplies, and the medkit may no longer be used.

O2 Bottle

Each O2 Bottle contains enough oxygen to sustain a character for 8 hours. It can be used to refill a character's oxygen supply in an emergency.

Panacea Gel

Panacea Gel is a versatile medical compound that can be used to treat a wide range of injuries and illnesses. It is commonly used by med-techs and other medical professionals to quickly heal wounds.

Using a Panacea Gel requires one maneuver for your character to apply it either to themself or to another engaged character. The Gel is consumed in the process, and the character immediately heals 5 wounds. While a character can use multiple Gels, this provides diminishing returns. Each Gel after the first heals one wound fewer. A second Gel heals 4 wounds, a third heals 3, and so on. Using a sixth Gel in a day has no further effect.

After one day, the lingering effects of the Gel wears off, and the character may use Gel again with their normal effect (this means a character can consume up to five Gels a day, each day)

Rope

Modern rope is made from synthetic fibers that are lightweight, strong, and resistant to wear and tear. Rope is a versatile tool that can be used for climbing, securing objects, and other tasks.

Space Bandolier

A Space Bandolier is a belt or strap that is worn across the chest and is used to carry ammunition, grenades, and other small items.

Draw or holster an easily accessible weapon or item as an incidental.

Think-rite

Think-rite is a powerful stimulant that can be used to increase focus and concentration. It is commonly used by pilots, soldiers, and other professionals who need to stay alert and awake for long periods of time. However, Think-rite is highly addictive and can have serious side effects if used in excess.

When your character consumes Think-rite, they heal 4 strain, then suffer 2 wounds for every other Think-rite they have consumed in the past 24 hours.

Toolkit

Toolkits are sold by numerous manufacturers and contain everything needed to carry out basic mechanical and electronic repairs. Most standard kits come with a selection of hand tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, ratchets, and sockets. Many also include circuit testers, voltmeters, diagnostic scanners, probes, feeler gauges, jumpers, and other specialty tools for doing everything from changing a broken Linkpad screen to overhauling a ships drive.

This kit provides your character with the equipment needed to make a Mechanics check without penalty.
