Appearance
Spaceborn
Description
Born and raised in the microgravity environments of space stations and habitats, the Spaceborn represent a new evolutionary step for humanity, uniquely adapted to the cosmos. Their physiques are noticeably distinct, with elongated limbs and slender bodies adapted to life in zero-gravity. Having lived most of their lives outside of a gravity well, they move with a grace and fluidity that is mesmerizing, almost dance-like, in microgravity environments.
Spaceborn individuals possess a deep-rooted understanding of space travel and the idiosyncrasies of life off-world. They have an innate sense of orientation in three-dimensional space and are accustomed to thinking in terms of zero-gravity physics, making them exceptional pilots, engineers, and astronauts. The mental adaptations required to live in such environments have also made them strong willed, crucial for survival in the unforgiving vacuum of space.
Their social structures and cultures, developed in the confined spaces of orbital communities, emphasize cooperation, resourcefulness, and a profound appreciation for the delicate balance of life support systems. These traits, along with their unique perspectives, make them invaluable in interstellar diplomacy and trade.

PRESENCE
Starting Wound Threshold: 11 + Brawn
Starting Strain Threshold: 9 + Willpower
Starting Experience: 140 XP
Starting Skills: Spaceborn begin with one rank in Coordination or Coercion during character creation. They obtain this rank before spending experience points, and may not train this skill above rank 2 during character creation.
Elegance In Motion: Once per session, a Spaceborn may spend a Story Point to perform a single Agility skill check with unparalleled precision and smoothness, reducing the difficulty of any one check by kkk.
Microgravity Acclimation: Spaceborn don't suffer any environmental effects from being in microgravity.
Right To Repair: Spaceborn are adept at maintaining and repairing spacecraft and space stations. They add aa to Mechanics checks related to spacecraft or space station systems.
