Description

In the vast cold of the cosmos, evolution has taken a turn toward the extraordinary. The Sage is a product of advanced human bioengineering and cybernetic enhancements. They have transcended the normal human processes of sleep, aging, and disease, initially created as competent researchers and explorers for long duration space missions to the outer system, they are ideally suited for a variety of roles, from military to medical, and are often found in leadership positions.

Possessing an incredibly durable body, the Sages system has been recalibrated and fine-tuned to near perfection. It doesn't sleep, for its brain optimizes itself in real-time, performing maintenance tasks even while awake. It doesn't age, as its cells possess advanced regenerative properties that counteract wear and tear, keeping it perpetually in its prime. And it doesn't succumb to disease, for its immune system is beyond efficient, equipped with nanobots capable of neutralizing threats at a molecular level.

Starting Experience: 120 XP

Starting Skills: Sages begin with one rank in Medicine or Leadership during character creation. They obtain this rank before spending experience points, and may not train this skill above rank 2 during character creation.

Clarity of Eternity: Once per session, a Sage may spend a Story Point to add ssaa to any one Intellect or Presence check.

Superhuman Stamina: Sages do not need to sleep but can instead enter a state of meditation for 4 hours to gain the benefits of a full night's rest.

Timeless Vigor: Sages do not age and are immune to natural diseases.
